Health Tip: Realistic resolutions
New Year's resolutions seem as easy to break as they are to make. But you can make relatively small changes that can have a major impact on your health:
-
Quit or cut down on things you know are bad for you such as smoking or alcohol consumption.
-
Cut your stress levels by identifying and changing the things that bother you. This can include simplifying your life setting priorities and just letting some things go.
-
Set some time aside for yourself and the people and activities you enjoy.
-
Schedule disease screening tests that are appropriate for someone of your age sex and level of risk.
