This is not uncommon, especially allergies to codeine. It is important to disclose your medical history, including any pre-existing conditions. Other information:Children. Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established. Seniors are especially sensitive to the effects of narcotic analgesics. If you miss a dose: take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double dose.
